BSD 認證!!!

官方網站在 BSDCert ,
不過還沒制訂出來.

The BSD Certification Group is currently working on the certification standard. We will be announcing soon the number of certifications and their names. We will also be publishing a roadmap of dated milestones so you will know when the first beta exam will be available.
Once the roadmap is published, the group will establish detailed exam objectives and curricula.

Fedora ? RedHat ? Gentoo ? FreeBSD ?

昨天在 Taiwan.CNET.com 看到 Fedora市佔率擴大 Red Hat下滑這篇.

網路服務廠商Netcraft公司分析了400萬個網站，瞭解各家網站伺服器都使用哪些Linux版本。該公司調查顯示，40萬以上的網站在三月份使用Fedora，比去年九月上升了122%。
使用Red Hat Enterprise Linux的網站則在過去六個月中減少了2萬台，不過目前仍以161萬台(在受訪的400萬個網站中)的部署率高居最常用的網站伺服器作業系統。

其他Linux版本在過去六個月的使用量也都也增長。免費版的Debian與Gentoo，以及商用版的Mandrakesoft與SuSE分別增加了14%，45%，17%與11%。

剛好 wise 前幾天跟我提到 MI 那台機器的未來.

我的看法是這樣.
反正我們用的配備又不是什麼 “怪傢私” , 也沒有裝 Oracle DB , 在 Linux distribution 多到很難選的情況下, 我還是比較偏好 BSD 派的 FreeBSD .

不過如果還是沒辦法找到 shadow 轉 master.passwd 的方式的話, Gentoo 可能是不錯的選擇?

新竹好店 – 雅鶴

其實我們已經去雅鶴日式岩燒很多次了, 昨晚又跟同學去了一次, 才想到來寫這篇.

地點在經國路 HomeBox 斜對面, 價位算是中等 (中餐, 宵夜 249 / 晚餐, 假日 299).

碳烤類的食材中, 我特別喜歡他們的紅酒香腸跟雞心, 其他的雪花牛, 魚下巴, 咖哩雞也都不錯. :)
火鍋的話, 一定要試試他們的豬腳筋.

另外, 他們還有提供非即溶式的咖啡跟可沖泡的紅茶, 綠茶等等茶包.
用餐後記得留點肚子裝他們的泡芙, 非常好吃.

Intel 與 AMD 通吃的主機板!

剛剛在 HEXUS 看到的 : HEXUS.net : Review : CEBIT 2005: AMD or Intel? Same Motherboard! : Page – 1/1 .

HEXUS brings you the ECS PF88, the first mainboard to support both Intel P4 AND AMD Athlon 64 processors

製造商是 ECS (台灣的精英 ? ) , 型號是 PF88 , 使用的北橋晶片是 SiS 656 , 南橋晶片是 SiS 965 , 板子上有 LGA775 插槽, 可以支援到 FSB 1066 MHz 的 Intel P4 EE :

對 AMD CPU 的支援方式則是靠一塊轉接卡 ( 看來好像是 PCI-E 的介面? O_O ), 支援 Socket 939 的 AMD CPU . 卡上有 SiS 756 作為北橋晶片 :

使用時是這個樣子 :

如果不知道該買 AMD 還是 Intel 時, 可以考慮考慮用這塊主機板.
不過嘛… SiS , 還真的得好好考慮考慮. (邪惡)

讓瀏覽者能快速將頁面加入 365key 的作法

這篇其實是延續了之前的 讓瀏覽者能快速將頁面加入 furl 跟 Del.icio.us 的作法 (更新版) .

作法依然很簡單 :

主要修正 2.0.12 的兩個錯誤, 引用自官方公告 :

includes/sessions.php 修正 :
